The Kevin Bishop Show: A Comprehensive Review

Yet again, Kevin Bishop seems determined to make us look like fools for thinking the pilot episode of his show was quite enjoyable. Its still a premise with loads of potential channel hopping through an EPG full of spoofs, replete with semi-authentic station idents and channel numbers, supposedly never staying with an idea long enough for it to get boring (a problem known in the industry as the reading the full story in The Onion not just the headline effect). Supposedly. Now, if were unlucky, thatll all be PR guff, and many ideas are actually dragged out for much longer than youd needed to suck the only joke on offer completely dry. Which will it be, eh?

Skype-Joltid Dispute Presents an Opportunity for Google Voice

eBay reports in an SEC filing that Skype is embroiled in a software licensing lawsuit with Joltid, forcing eBay to write its own VOIP software in case Skype loses. While some wonder if the dispute will impede eBay’s planned IPO for Skype, others see Skype’s troubles as a chance for Google Voice to grow.

We Are Klang (BBC 3) : An Extensive Review

Well, it had some nice ideas. Plus, it mentioned (a) The Goodies, and (b) the fact one of the cast looks a bit like a fat Rik Mayall. But! We didnt actually laugh once, and the musical number came over like Flight Of The Conchords without the production values. Pity, we were looking forward to it.
